Apple Picking!

This will be approximately the fifth post that starts with an acknowledgment of my extreme love for fall. So, if anyone hasn't read about it yet...I LOVE FALL!!!!!!!

To celebrate fall here in the Midwest, Adrian's cousin Juan and his wife Brandi invited us to go with them to the apple orchard! They have two small sons and wanted to take them out there. I may be almost 25 years old, but I could barely sleep the night before we went because I was SOOOOO excited. It was like we were going to Disney World or something!!!

This orchard is amazing. Not only are there rows and rows of all different types of apples, but there are also plenty of other things to enjoy while you're there--an animal farm for the kiddos, a corn maze, tractor rides, a pumpkin patch, a little cafe with lots of apple-related foods, and a store for purchasing all kinds of neat things! At lunch, we had fresh apple sauce, baked apples, and the BEST apple cider I've ever had! At the store, we purchased more apple cider, apple butter, cinnamon-apple syrup, pumpkin- and apple-cinnamon-flavored donuts, dipping caramel and FUDGE!!!

This is definitely the most fun thing I've done in a while. Here are some pictures that I took while at the orchard. Happy fall, y'all!

precious? I think yes.

aren't they just the cutest little family?!

They told us..."The best way to figure out what kind you want is to just taste one! If you don't like it, throw it on the ground and go on to the next type!" Um, awesome. :)

adrian really wants a tractor...he may have grown up in the city, but he's a country boy at heart

perfect fall scene!
